I have always been someone who has aspired to seek out and find beauty in the world around me. I learned that perspective creates our entire reality and from a young age - I was already beginning to see how incredibly beautiful, strange, and complex this life truly is. Continuously finding balance within the dance between the natural world and the technology that is available to us, I find my own equilibrium through the hobby of Photography.
Cameras have always been around in my life, from the baby shoots we did as a family when I was a child, to the DSRL my parents bought in the early 2000’s, I have always enjoyed being in front and behind the lens. Yet, I have dedicated the better part of a decade to refining this practice and creating a name for myself, knowing I have so much more to learn and explore.
In my background, I used to teach Yoga, but continue my own practice today. This allows me to combine mindfulness practices into my photography. Allowing space for deeper connection to myself, the camera and gear I am using, and the process of creating the photos. Accessing further freedom without getting in my own way. I attempt to dive even further into life’s spectrum of emotion through mindfully crafted compositions created by my camera.
