Meet the Photographer

I have always done my best to find the beauty in the world around me. Being that perspective creates our entire reality, I am very thankful that at a young age, I started to see how incredibly beautiful, strange, and complex this life really is. Continuously finding balance in a dance with the natural world and the technology that is available to us, I find a middle ground through the hobby of Photography. I can remember a time in my life not wanting to pull out a phone or a camera because it may “ruin the vibe” only to end up regretting the fact that I didn’t have any pictures form the experience later on.

As I continue my journey into this artform, I learn more about myself and how fleeting this life is. As an introspective person, I like to find and learn from the lesson life is attempting to teach. With how fast light changes in the natural world and being a photographer that recreates that fleeting light, it is often that I have to let go of expectations and allow myself to become immersed into moment. Be present in the space I am in, be aware and awake within my breath, and to feel the technology in my hand, which all comes together in a meditation sort of way. The more mindful I can become with my breathing, the more creative I can become behind the lens. The practice reflects back into one another. Myself, the camera, and the subject.
