Mountains have always been present in my life… from early childhood memories of camping with the family in the Rocky Mountains to exploring the Alaskan Range in Denali National Park in my young adult life, these giant formations that help shape the land around us have shaped my life in profound ways.

Walking with nature always proves to give us everything we need in terms of perspective. Nature shows us that not rushing a single thing still accomplishes everything that needs to be accomplished. How changing seasons each bring their own tide, how it can reflect back to us humans, and what we can learn by aligning ourselves with those changes.. In Fall, we can release all bondages that hold us back so come Winter, we can recharge and restore. Then in Spring, we have the opportunity to bloom properly into the new space created from the shedding of those fallen leaves. Finally, in Summer, we are full and ready to venture out and experience new places and things in life before the cycle repeats itself anew. There are no mistakes in nature and walking amongst these giants is a testament to that statement. These unforgiving peaks, summits, and ranges have stood tall long before any of us and they will remain long after we leave. I stand in reverence with these majestic mountains and respect all that they have to offer.
